Where would we be if JJ had been suspended for the whole season?

Just thinking about how well we did while he was suspended, and how, for whatever reason, JL just didn't seem to be able to compete with JJ around.

We would have lost to Alabama, played in the Sugar Bowl.

Not much different. The only difference may be 2 losses to Bama instead of just 1.

We would have finished with one or two losses and probably gave some reps to next years starting QB.

13-1 with a much higher chance at being national champions

Not even in the NC game, would have lost on Nov 5.

Maybe...

I just know that Lee was not going to win the game that night. All of his passes were thrown up in the air, running away from pressure. It'd have been very difficult to do anything.

I am not going to say Lee would have come back after those 2 INT's, but I think Les should have given him a chance at some point to redeem himself. Maybe Les has a past where it resembles what he has done with jordan jefferson, simply unfathomable, probably should end up on unsolved mysteries.

Like someone else said, a loss on Nov 5th would have worked out great, that losing team won the NC.

BCS Champs!

JLee was a very good QB until JJ came back. He never played the same after

You could certainly make an argument that working JJ into games took some valuable reps away from Lee in both the games and in practices

If JJ wasn't a member of this team, we're probably still playing for the NC with or without a loss to Bama

And you can't assume that JL plays as poorly as he did against Bama if he's getting all the reps

I don't believe this at all. I think we could still have beat bama the first time, maybe even putting up more points. But, just like it will be forever now, we'll never know.

Are you obtuse? The loser of that game still made it in and we would have as well
