I was playing in a baseball tournament. It was our home tournmant so the coaches scheduled us to play like early and late

I was young but I still remember gathering around late in the game with all the parents and everyone was upset and when he bombed that homerun everyone was so excited parents hugging eachother it was great. I will never forget him rounding those bases with a hand up. I hit a walk off and did that one time. I felt so

I was playing in a men's softball tournament in Carencro. The place came to a standstill with all kinds of whoops and hollers.

I was with about 6-7 guys at a friend's house. Nice day for June and we had the windows open. The roar that went up from our house was so loud, people came from the other end of the street to see what happened. One of my greatest memories of LSU sports.

Driving home from the airport (Ryan) after annual training. I made an exception to allow soldiers to wear earphones to listen to the game, and the ones that did gave everyone scoring updates. We'd just returned from Fort Dix via C-130 transport plane. I was the senior officer of our group (1st Lieutenant ) and waited until everyone had their various rides pick them up.

Mrs. Midnight showed up at the perfect time to take me home. I loaded up my gear, turned on the game and heard the last 3 batters.

True story - when Morris came up, I turned to Mrs. Midnight and said, "He's been hurt all year, because of the Olympics. He hasn't hit a homerun this season. He's due." *PING*

The rest, as they say, is history.

In a vehicle with my dad. Cable was out at the house so we ran in the vehicle and listened to the last 2 innings.

I just got goosebumps thinking about it.

This is the strangest thing. As it happens, I had to work that day and had no way of listening/watching the game. I got off of work and went straight to my parents house (their house was very close to where I was working), I walked into the living room, my dad was watching the game, and the first play and only at bat that I watched was the home run that Morris hit. My dad went batshit and then I realized that I had witnessed the winning run.

At my apartment being late to get married. Was twenty minutes late to take pictures b/c I was celebrating. Was hoarse saying my vows. Luckily my wife is an LSU alum.

Playing shortstop in a little league all-star tournament. Most of the parents were watching the game under the pavilion when the crowd erupted. Home plate umpire called time to go ask what happened.....

FML type of week for me. I was *in* Omaha for the tourney and planned to stay the whole week, but had a bad reaction to the meds I was on for a major sinus infection/bronchitis crap and flew home after LSU's second win (Florida).

So, I was watching from my bed by myself surrounded by a mountain of snot rags and gatorade.

My dad was driving a relative home from the Alexandria airport and forced to listen over the radio to the at-bat of the boy who grew up in his church. He nearly drove off into the ditch when Hawthorne described the call.
