I think this is definitely accurate.

Also, when football/baseball (and now women’s basketball) are all doing well the “good pressure” and attention on men’s basketball from the fanbase kind of evaporates. While I want LSU to win in every sport, when football and baseball are doing well it’s much easier for me to overlook and sometimes not even care how the basketball team is doing.

We are without a doubt a fair-weather basketball school, myself included. Unfortunately it is reality.

It seems like Wade was maybe changing that culture, that’s why so many are still angry that he’s gone. While I totally understand the reasons we had to move on, Hopefully we can find a coach in the future that starts to build that again.
