Any suggestions on convenient hotels or areas to stay in Orland for the FSU game?

All of the hotels near the stadium are charging unreal money per night. Even lowly Hampton Inn wants $280 a night. The team is staying at the Renaissance Orlando Sea World but that is a bit of a trek to the stadium though. I agree with Mr. Allen. When we booked our room at Loews Sapphire Falls, was lower priced and not that far from the stadium. It is a nice hotel, plus it is right in the middle of Universal Studios

It’s cheaper to get an Airbnb. I got one for 3 nights that sleeps 6 for $700 4.5 miles from the stadium.

Tangy Bowl??? Maybe if you have a "Back in Time" Delorean and go back to 1980ish. If so, tell my old friend Michael J. Fox that I said hi.

Saturday thru Monday at a Marriott property on International Drive near Universal. 15 minutes drive for the stadium. I think the $ equivalent was $650 total for 2 rooms, double queen mattress with pullout couch in each.

I live in Orlando so if you have any questions feel free to ask them. I would say don't worry about getting a place downtown near the stadium. Either stay out by the theme parks (it will be cheaper anyway) or over on the coast by Daytona Beach, New Smyrna Beach or Cocoa Beach. Downtown Orlando is fine but outside of some clubs there really isn't much to do. I wouldn't say it's necessary to stay in Downtown Orlando for the game.

If you don't have a parking pass in one of the stadium lots I typically recommend parking in Downtown Orlando. The city typically has buses running and they will take you from the Amway Center to the stadium. That way you aren't parking in the hood and come back with your car broken into or missing. If you insist on parking right near the stadium just make sure it's a big well lit lot, don't park in someone's yard or some small lot even if it's cheaper. The area near the stadium isn't a good area so you have to play it safe. Anytime I go to a game or event at the stadium I park downtown in one of the parking garages or surface lots.

I am in Orlando three times a year for trade shows. I always stay at Vista Cay resort near the conference center. 20 minute Uber ride to CWS.

Paid $128 a night last time for a 3 BR unit.

So you're saying park at the "Amway Center" and take a bus to the stadium?
Any restaurants, bars, areas you'd recommend some younger adults to check out? We're in the <30 crowd and always try to find a non-sketch area to bar hop in wherever we go for a trip.
