Let me premise this by saying I think Finebaum is a worthless, unathletic, dweebish c*nt and doesn't deserve to be on TV...
He actually expressed his disgust for that situation a couple or three years ago (whenever it happened) at SEC Media days.

I actually got into heated argument with an attorney from Alabama. He literally said it was made up bs by louisiana cops, and that da corrected what would have been a fraudulent arrest/conviction. I kid you not. He got REALLY upset. It was comical.

Finebaum was actually the biggest media guy to call out Saban. There's a video somewhere of Saban absolutely laying into him after ESPNs feed cut.
