Husky Stadium seated 74,000 and was the loudest stadium in the country (when the teams are good and the fans are not sitting on their hands). See ESPN decibel record.

New stadium will be the best on the West Coast:

maybe they shouldnt ask what it is, just eat it and enjoy the taste. they might spit it back up if you say "just some frog legs"

Their stadium looks like an exaggerated version of a Texas HS football stadium with ginormus shades for the top deck. A track around the stadium puts a HUGE gap between the seats and the game. Could the endzone seats be any further from the action? Can you imagine a "Lambeau Leap" when scoring a TD? Awful. Just awful.

Despite whatever shortcomings you feel their stadium has, I think it has got to be on one of the best real estate locations in college football.

I guess they're both horseshoe-type stadiums?

Beautiful setting as well

This.

Probably the only stadium where you can tie up your boat to the dock and walk about 100 yards to the game.

You don't have to pack. They will take care of the packing.

Can't wait to go back to see my Tigers beat up UW again in the NEW stadium...but it is a beautiful setting and the city treated the LSU fans very well in 2009. There wasn't a lot of recognition of a college football game being played that weekend other than the 20,000 LSU fans in town, and the strange looks we got from the fenced-off "tail-gating party" on the UW campus (open-container law required a fence). But it was a great trip, and I think UW and Sark are a class-act. Fatten up that Tiger Bait!!

Sark might be. You met husky fans while in the midst of a very humbling time for them in their history. When they were a top program that wasnt exactly the case for many. They could be a cocky, ruthless bunch like any fanbase has. Just saying.

Yeah, you're pretty clearly unbiased on this one.

Fortunately LSU and UW seem to agree on the new-money behavior of Duck fans.

We're in the middle of a $250 million renovation.

man, that sounds excellent...the game in seattle was one of the most enjoyable away games I have attended...put a rennovated husky stadium in that same spot and I don't think there will be a cooler place to visit in all of college football...I sure hope we can do another home and home over the next several years...

I'm not one of those shitty fans so I don't care. I know there are just as many shitty udub fans because I saw it myself when the Ducks sucked and y'all didn't. You just haven't had anything to be arrogant about for quite some time. Not saying all were bad (one of my best friends is a dawg) but you had/have your fair share like any fan base. That's a fact.

Eta....can't wait for the beat down LSU and Oregon are gonna give you. How's that humble pie taste?

Found this on their board.

Golfed with an attorney in Lafayette, La. a few years ago. He indicated that he was running for a local judgeship and that he was Cajun. Couldn't understand a word he said for four hours but offered to buy him a beer when we finished and I'm pretty sure he said yes. Last time I saw him was when I looked out the window of the bar and he tossed his clubs in the back of his pickup and drove away. What the hell, saved me 5 bucks

Seen New Orleans lately? I'd say we are here..... see ya in Baton Rouge tomorrow..... from a LSU fan (whose cousin will likely be one of your LBs seeing significant time (according to him)), "y'all travel good."

Go Huskies!!
