College Career Only - As a pure pass coverage, Man2Man lock down the other teams best WR type of CB?

My Top 5:

1 - Webster
2 - Greedy
3 - Tre White
4 - Claiborne
5 - Peterson

I still too this day think Webster was the best cb iv ever seen in college. Not a scout in was a kid back then but he always came through with a big play kinda like how tm7 had a knack

Tm7 wasnt a cb I thought he was like the reason for the nickle back being a playmaker position. He was not a lock down cb he was a ball hawking, quarterback sacking fumble producing turnover machine, that returned punts better then any player for lsu I have ever seen. He could play any skill position on the team and produce. I di not believe he was a better cb then the guys above. But I would take him over any of the guys above if I were building a football dream team.

Webster is NO WAY on the top of that list. Peterson was going against Julio and AJ to name a couple HoF quality receivers.

Haha. Peterson is number 1 in the history of the SEC, maybe all of college football.

Mo Claiborne is the best pure cover corner I've seen at LSU. Best "ball skills" by far as well.

I hate the phrase ball skills. Sounds so stupid.

Nah haha. As a pure cover corner I’d put Mo ahead of Pat personally

1. Claiborne
2. Pat
3. White
4. Webster
5. Greedy

Honestly with another year like this one Fulton has a chance to pass Greedy I was more impressed with how he played than I was with how Greedy played this year

Greedy remind me alot of Claiborne in college. Lanky CBs that were suffocating.

There’s been a lot of these types of threads lately. Seems a lot of people have no knowledge of any LSU players pre-Saban.

I’ll add Tommy Casanova and Willie Teal.
