I know it’s not 2007 Florida game or like others but that was a great game atmosphere. We led the whole game but they were like that cockroach you couldn’t get rid of until the end. I loved the whole stadium doing the gator chomp.

Great atmosphere, don't know where it would rank, but nothing has come close to '79 USC...

13 downvotes so far...tells me they were not there...if they were and still don't think it was then bless your heart...

They took the lead after half actually. They kept throwing that curl route that gave Stingley some fits.luckily we held them in check the rest of the game

2014 Ole Miss was pretty insane. I’d probably put it at the top of the games I’ve been to.

Just put this together.

1997 Florida - My first memory of attending an LSU football game

2007 Florida - 2nd year at LSU, most memorable game as a student

2019 Florida - Watched the game in the hospital for the birth of my first son.

I agree wholeheartedly lol. That game was so much fun though. My clothes were vibrating in the nosebleeds. Buddy of mine that went with me had never been to a game before and that was his first experience. He fell in love with it all after that game.

Man what a day. First we draw the night game because I believe bama and Aggie got the CBS game. Both lsu and Florida where undefeated and in the top 10. College gameday was in town. The first cool day of the year and it was mid October, it was a brutal summer. Plus there was the flyover pregame

When CBS didn’t pick the game up, I knew it was going to be a special night.

A game that gets slept on a lot is the 2012 South Carolina game when USCe was No.3.

1997 Auburn was a great game atmosphere until we lost at the end.

It was a great game and great atmosphere. And it was a nice chilly mid October night. It was the first big night game with stadium wide beer sales.

It was a great atmosphere - I know cause I was in a suite ( which is not usual for me ) and it was great even up there.

My list of great atmosphere for games I attended ( not necessarily in order):

1979 USC
1997 Florida
2003 Georgia
2007 Florida
2019 Florida

Plus some Auburn games - always are close, tense games.

1997 Florida is hard to beat. And USC game was a loud as any LSU game I've been to and the stadium was smaller then. However I wasn't at the 2019 game so I can't give an educated opinion.

TS was in rare form that night. I’ve been to ~50 home games from the early 2000s to present. Atmosphere was top 5-7 of those 50 that night.

Great atmosphere. I'd say borderline top 5.
