Don't worry, I have a couple of pages containing quotes from other posters who jumped off the bandwagon before SEC play even started. I did this back in the Final Four year, and it was a smashing success. Stay tuned....

man....i hope im not in there. im pretty sure ive been preaching the wait and see method all season long.

Statmaster is mastering his own stats, while using his own tears as lubricant.

How many of you have seen a game in Barnhill Arena? The most imposing place to play in the SEC, 20,000 strong. We missed 10 free throws and shot poorly from 3 point range and still won the game. The same team beat Ok and Texas there. There was a reason. Any road win is big!

I agree a road win is big, but MSU, Auburn and Kentucky easily beat them in their feared arena.

Struggling against inferior competition again. This team WILL NOT make the NCAA tourney. They just don't have enough talent, especially in the post.

It's not really surprising the SEC in basketball has become what the Pac 10 is too football.

Buckeye fan 19,

At least they did'nt say that basketball has become what the Big 10 is too football. The Big 10 is the worst conference...Ohio State has been nothing but a joke.

No, it's not. The Big East is, easily. I'd say, this year, the Big 10, Pac 10, and ACC were all around equal at 3-5.

Either way, I was talking about the SEC THIS YEAR. It's entirely possible that in 2-3 years, the SEC could be one of the top conferences, but this year, it's the worst of the top 6, by far. That's the thing with basketball, it can change in a heartbeat. Last year, the Pac 10 was a great b-ball conference, this year, it's struggling a bit. In football, the conferences generally stay in the same order, but in b-ball, they can change.

Yeah, our 4-3 BCS record and 4 straight Big 10 Championships are so bad.

Easy for you, as an LSU fan, to say.

I'd say 7 appearances and an above .500 is pretty solid, though, IMO FWIW GFY.
