Struggling against inferior competition again. This team WILL NOT make the NCAA tourney. They just don't have enough talent, especially in the post.

They might win, but struggling against the likes of Nicholls St. and McNeese doesn't bode well for future conference games. Even weak SEC teams are better than McNeese and Nicholls.

trent johnson is a good coach, i feel he will do good with limited talent this year but really turn the program around with strong recruiting and getting people excited about LSU basketball again

You cant expect success overnight with Brady gone now.

He destroyed the program and fanbase it takes a while to build back up

No one will be happier to eat crow on that one than me, but I just don't see it. I think LSU is a slightly above average team. If I'm wrong, I'll be on here ready for crow dinner.

I couldn't agree more. But I'm getting tired about everyone hyping up THIS particular team. I love LSU sports. I have my whole life. But I'm not going to fool myself into thinking this team is something more than what it is. An average, middle-of-the-road division I basketball team who's beaten up a HORRIBLE competition up to this point in the season. That's all.

As long as they improve through the season, then avg will become top 25.

He's got a better shot with this team than next year's. All our experience will be gone.

im not saying they will be as good as there record might say, but he was put in a tough situation and i feel he will do good considering what he has to work with and build a respectable program on it

um this would probably be a great post and all if anyone is hyping us. no one is buddy. the best thing I've seen someone
say was a 7 seed in the tourney. so a top 30 team. that's very reasonable.

people are excited bc we aren't going to have a losing record for the third year in a row and we have a great coach who the fans and players respect.

not saying experience isnt important, but in college basketball its not as important as it would be in other sports. its been proven that one or two star freshmen can carry a team a long way (carmello anthony:national championship freshmen year. derrick rose: runner up freshmen year. michael beasley: took kasnas st from a laughing stock to a dangerous tourny team.) not saying we will get one of those guys next year, but if trent does a good job then we very well could
