If you are not going this weekend. Sell your tickets. I want to take my son to one of the games this weekend so SELL Them.
I've been looking for weekend series tickets all year and the only thing i've seen is "Standing room only". Then to see the game on TV or on geauxzone that the grandstand is not sold out. pathetic. Sell your tickets if you are not going. I do for football when i can't make it even when they play a sorry arse, "pay a win" team.

those yellow seats by first base, and most of the purple seats are always empty...I called the box office to ask about the seats next to my season tickets, no one has sat there all year. there are four that have never been used in sec. 120, row 8. ticket office said the same thing..."wait till the regionals". I just want real baseball fans to sit with us.

I'll prob give them away to someone at work. I think too much is made of the no shows. X number of tickets belong to companies that just buy them for tax write offs and we draw over 6K for the weekends. So really you are looking at 2-3K that dont show with probably a few hundred belonging to those companies. Likely you only have 1K or so that wont go until regionals. Thats not all that bad.

There is definitely no excuse not to sell tickets if you are not going. I always sell my tickets on the lsu ticket marketplace when I am not going, if I don't give them away. They have been purchased for every conference game that I have listed them except for th UK game on Saturday, so I ended up going to the DH the next game.

They have not turned away a single fan at a home game this year. The ticket office sells stadium passes every game until the 5th inning. Just buy a stadium pass and sit where you can find a seat. NOONE IS TURNED AWAY.
Can anyone else confirm this? I have no problem standing all game.

What in the world are you people whining about? I sit down the LF line in the bleachers and there is always room in my section. How can you bitch about people not going when obviously there are available seats that you can just get in with a SRO ticket that is always available? If I dont go then someone with a SRO ticket can get in and sit. If everyone shows you can STILL get in with a SRO ticket and stand where there is room (obviously) bitching about people that support the program by giving money while you sit at home at watch on TV and dont give money is a bit stupid.

BOOM!!!!

I don't know how I got boomed. The actual attendance was averaging 6500 at least. Unless the place holds 11,000, there was not 4000+ no shows, just like I said. Even in the old Box's heyday, we were getting 6500 or so for regular weekend SEC games. The place wasn't packed to the rafters until regional times. So what are you complaining about again?

I bet you're pissed again that you don't get to sit in the purple seats.

I'll try to be there for UF, it'll be a good series.

Good luck to other Tiger fans looking for tickets! I'm sure one can find some tickets on gameday from a seller walking around the stadium.

How many games have you missed this season? You can't assume it's the same people who've missed all the games this year waiting until May to finally show up for their first game. It's more likely that on any given night during the season a certain percentage can't make it, including a small few who really don't care. Having 6 or 7 thousand in the seats is nothing to sneeze at ... we've just gotten used to extremely high expectations. Whiny thread.

what is a real baseball fan? One that drives 4 hours for every game. Sorry, can't do it!
