Damn! 2001 Sugar Bowl Florida vs. Miami
Miami should have been in the National Championship that year. That was one of the best college football teams I've ever seen.

i went to see auburn and ga tech a week or 2 after katrina. took my dad whom i brought from the coast up to bham where i was living at the time. needed an escape and that was it.

Don't remember the year but it was Maryland at Georgia tech... Joe hamilton was the qb... We was on our way to watch LSU play Georgia and passed by GT campus on thur afternoon... Got two great seats for less than face value...
GT was kinda good that year and their high school sized stadium wasn't even full... And I was amazed how quiet it was...

I went to Texas Tech vs Houston two years ago. fun game. Houston won. My wife is a tech grad so I've been to a few of their games. I much prefer to watch on TV though.
