its easier said than done man. LSU is recruiting the best players they can get. It's just that some of them don't want to play at LSU but want to play somewhere else, often at Bama. That's why the most important quality in a new coach is the ability to recruit at a high level.

4 and 5 star guys want to win so they are attracted to winners. That's why so many are interested in Bama and Bama continues to get the number 1 class year after year.

Until someone beats Bama on a regular basis they will continue to dominate. And I do t see that happening as long as Saban is the coach.

We basically have all 4 and 5 star guys. I am a huge fan of 3 star guys who didn't max out in HS and have the chip on their shoulder

They develop and maximize that talent as well. We, under Miles, did not.

No we don't. We have mostly 3 and 4 star guys with a few 5 stars sprinkled in. Bama has 5 star backups

Uhhh... only QB's really had that issue..

Tyrann Mathieu is the only boom I need.

The fact that Alabama managed to convince a player like JAllen to come back for his sr season is what has me most mind boggled.

He's more impactful to that team than LF is for LSU.

I just don't understand that one.

When you can go to college, break just about any law you want without being punished (weed and illegal concealed weapons just last summer). The Alabama machine is in full force. Kids can do whatever they want at Alabama, as long as they perform on the field. The only players who get punished, or kicked off the team- are scrubs who wouldn't make the starting line-up.

Don't forget that decision isn't up to LSU, you can't force a kid to go to LSU. There are some guys that no matter how much you recruit them just want to go somewhere else not in Louisiana.

This is way out of proportion. Go look at how bad our D made the offense look. They Oline looked as shtty as ours most of that game.

Several times we got to then in the backfield with several tackles for loss and Cam couldn't do anything to stop it. Works for both teams. Their Offense just was better than ours. If we score were any better on offense we score and win that game.

We win that game and you none of that matters. We didn't lose because their players are better.

Why were Western Kentucky and Kentucky able to score? Arkansas doesn't have near the offensive talent as LSU, yet they put up 30. Allen has been hammered all year, yet he puts up 400 yards and 3 TDs (also 3 ints), in his first year starting with a guy that was out for the year last year with an injury, a 3 star from Shreveport, and a former walk on. Care to check the ratings on all those guys compared to LSU's? Care to check the OL ratings as well?

The excuses made for not scoring against Bama are just laughably bad.

It's also Player Development. LSU wrs really have regressed. It's sad. Josh Booty said some interesting things on the radio about the wrs and how their psyche is being hurt playing in this no fun offense. He even went as far as saying the recruiting of wrs and how the sell wrs a dream.
