The one position that would benefit the most from more size is DE. Every DE is listed below 260 on the current roster. Unless some of these guys were able to put on some size, I think they will have trouble stopping the run.

The roster is wrong. It hasn't been updated in a while. Plus the new players height and weight is more than 6 months old. Bower could easily be 260. Rasco is right around there, so is Allen. Neal is around 250, Herron was 265 in January

Jeryl Brazil - 6'6" 330 lbs.

If he could just grow to DL size and keep his speed and agility, he could be a real contributor on D this year.

the next Trindon at DE!

we shut down all comers in 2011 with our primary DEs being Sam, Mingo and Adams, all of whom were no bigger than 255.

Good point, but don't forget about Lavar Edwards! Big DE that played the run extremely well. That part of his game was undervalued by most.

Mingo, Montgomery, and Adams were comparable in size to the top 3 DEs coming into this year. Those 3 were also rare athletes (Adams ran a 4.6 at the Pro Day). That athletic ability allowed them to excel, despite the size difference. I don't think that Rasco, Allen, and Hunter match the 2011 group's athletic ability. Except for maybe Hunter, I consider him the wild card in that group. He may be on that level athletically, I don't know. I haven't seen enough of him.

I'm with you here. This is the most talented group of LBs I can remember. Although, they are a bit undersized as well. My main concern at LB is Welter, if he is going to start in the middle.

Thanks Harry Coleman Beast.

I'll feel much better about our DL depth depending on the weights of the incoming freshman.

Wonder if Feist will beef up & be listed as a DE, or will stay at 230 & switch back to MLB when the young guys prove they are ready to step in.

I would like to see the actual weights of the o-line. Turner, Alexander, Williford, and Collins, all got to be well over 300. Hawkins and Porter should be right around 300. Good size up front, then you have Copeland who goes about 270 leading the way at FB.
