The kid is just not accurate enough and doesn't have the FB IQ, so he didn't pan out.

Btw its a huge jump from HS to the SEC

He got a really raw deal coming to LSU.

How so?

He acted like he was entitled. He had no poise in the pocket or field awareness.
He was inaccurate. It's not hard to believe the anecdotal reports that he didn't put time in the film room.

He was a legend in his own mind with his self-aggrandizing attitude ("strongest arm" my arse). Simply put, he was overrated. Sure, it didn't help that he was coached by two idiots but I doubt much would have changed at another program.

A lot of these people that talk shite about him and think he is done better watch it, a new OC can come in and run a spread which he ran in high school and excelled at and take harris and turn him into a stud. I think you put him in something he is used to and he will do fine with the right guy coaching him. He has way more tools then Etling plus Brennan will need a year to get the playbook down only other option is Scott who i think is better then brennan just shorter

THe ability to think, remain calm, do check downs, recognize defenses, feel the pocket, etc are all "tools" of a QB and they are essential.
Etling has them, Harris does not.
HArris has only a stronger arm.
