Early 2000's before we won a NC and started getting all our good games during the day.

A good game at night is still a great atmosphere, but it rarely happens because CBS snatches us up for their 2:30 games.

For the Florida game last year, tons of people just hung out in the corridor by the concession stands to get out of the heat. It was actually a really sad sight to see. Yes it was hot, but why even go to the game?

We've had a great atmosphere in TS every year since 2003 except 2009 and 2013. I don't get this harping on the death of Death Valley.

It really did stop after the second bcs title

Just think about that for a minute. If it's true, then why?

2011 was meh because LSU was blowing everyone away so easily.

False. 2011 was a blast. I enjoyed that season so much. I think that we were blowing teams out by SO much that it was at the opposite end of the scale for game excitement. Like people would show up to see us demolish people. That team had a ton of swagger.

Loved it.

ITT: nostalgia and people that don't understand that the "magic" of Tiger Stadium has everything to do with the teams playing on the field.

Can the above posters please give me their Bama tickets since it sucks so much?

2011 was good. day games changed everything. There are too many day games now and we all know what it feels like during a day game.
