I was there ... Even though a few of UNLV's star players had to sit out, it was still one of the best games I've ever witnessed.. And to watch Tarkanian eat his towel all game was PRICELESS!...

UNLV was basketball's version of the U from '77-the early 90's.

I was there in that student section- my senior year. One of if not the most exciting basketball games I ever witnessed in person! Ricky Blanton-

By the way that was 1989, not 1990.

Thank you for the smile...I was there as a student. Never forget that finish and the ball save by Jackson. Good times indeed

Please, please, please let the PMAC be like that again. I would cry sweet tears of joy as I walk to my car.

Stacy Augmon was the only starter that missed that game. The 1990 game. The buzzer shot was the 1989 game.

Ron Abernathy.

I was a freshman in law school. I was probably on the second row and somewhere in one of those shots.

Bob Petit, Shaquille O'Neal = NBA Top 50 All-Time.
Pete Maravich = Top Collegiate scorer All-Time in just three years without a three point line, 44 per game.
The best is yet to come = school's first men's bb national championship.
"Build it and they will come.''
Welcome to Pete's Palace Mr. Simmons.
