When is the last time an LSU QB was not injured during the course of a season?

I can think of only a few seasons in the last 10-11 years:
2006 - I believe JaMarcus played the entire season without significant injury
2003 - I believe Mauck played the entire season without significant injury.
Since 2001 (last 11 seasons), every season has seen the starting QB replaced due to injury except during two seasons mentioned above.
It stands to reason that having QB depth is beneficial...having experienced QB depth is even better.
There is no doubting that Lee looks very confident right now, and is clearly the No. 1 QB. There is no reason to platoon QB's or even bring in Jefferson in certain situations in which we could use his running abilities. I believe Jefferson should only see the field if Lee gets injured or we are blowing out an opponent, AND it is determined that he is a better option than Mettenburger.
The bottom line is that there is chance that Lee will need to be replaced because of injury, and having options to replace him is a good thing.
Forget the past. Lee has never looked this good in his previous three seasons. We have a new coordinator and an overall better offense (blocking, running, receiving).

Who determined this? Just asking because Mett has looked solid (given it's a limited sample size) and you can't just erase JJ's past performance.

It would be interesting to poll our fanbase to find out who they prefer as the backup QB, Mett or JJ?
Not that the fanbase opinion matters- just out of curiousity.

Just like they determined Lee was the best option when fans thought Mett should start.

He wasn't saying it Has been determined, He was saying what all he believes would have to happen for Jefferson to see the field.

I disagree with this.....there are running situations where JJ would be the better QB. For the vast majority of the plays JL should be in but there are definitely times Les is gonna play JJ and I am excited about it Les has had the chance to work with them both every day for 4 years and before the season he thought that Jefferswag was the better QB and I am going to have to agree with him because it seems like he can do no wrong lately.

Wow, how can u post things like this, then censor people posting the same thing about JJ.
Also, newsflash, Lee won us several games last year, and would likely have been as good as he has been this year, not being yoyo'd out of the game to try and give JJ rushing tds.

Pretty sure the OP was saying IF it was determined that JJ was better (at this point) than Mett.
I agree with all points. I do want to say however, that Mett is. Not your typical 1st year QB. He has as much experience as Cam Newton had before last season.

I disagree with this.....there are running situations where JJ would be the better QB.
You can't say that we would be more effective with Jefferson in the game in those situations.

I'm fairly certain that Russel in 2006, Mauck in 2003, and Tyler in 1997 were the last 3 times one QB took all significant snaps.

I like Lee on 3rd and 4+, Jefferson on #rd and 3. Also, a qb that can tuck it and get a first down, changes what a dcoord will call. With JLee in game Muschamp/Saban types will blitz like crazy, with JJ not so much.
