When do you concede that Miles made the right decision with the QB

I think JL needed to play a couple weeks ago, but when do you say maybe Miles was right with JJ?

If our offense stays as crappy as it is now but we beat Florida in an ugly game.

If we beat Florida and Auburn

Never as long as we continue to look inept on offense.

The thing is that even if JL comes in, chances are that he doesn't do that great. He hasn't really played at all this year and he didn't get in enough reps against shitty teams to work his way up to Tenn and Florida. Miles is a fricking idiot for not seeing that this shouldn't have happened.

Inept offense will not beat Florida on the road or Bama at home.

What if Les put Lee in one of the previous 4 games and he proceeded to throw pick 6s and we lost? Would you praise him for prepping for the later games then?

When I see for myself that JJ is better.
If we happen to beat the tough teams ahead it will be nothing short of a miracle. And JJ has shown absolutely nothing that leads me to believe that he will contribute anything meaningful to those possible wins.

If Jefferson did shitty and he gave JL a chance as a result and then JL did horrible as well, I wouldn't complain once.

Regardless of the composition of the offense/whole team if he can get this lsu team to 11-1 regular season , then I shall take a pro-active role in ensuring that he stays for as long as he can.

It can happen only for a genius or for someone who is lucky. I can even let go of the genius but not someone who is favored by Dame Fortuna herself

Les would not be feeling anywhere near the heat if JL had gotten some appreciable playing time to this point, regardless of the outcome.

At least then we would know that our QB situation is truly hopeless and that our defense and special teams had better play the last eight games like the first four in order for us to win.

To simply accept that this is as good as it can be is unacceptable at this point when we know there is one option we have not tried this season.

This is the entire thought process, a lesser of two evils.

Yeah i would have at least gave Les credit for trying something different at QB. If it didnt work out, we at least would have known that he tried a change.

He'd never get the chance to throw more than one Pick-6. One game would be in jeopardy in that case, but it's not like JJ was perfect so that any mistake, including a Pick-6, was necessarily more damaging than what actually happened.

Do we want our coaches doing trial and error in a game or should he just know the correct choice before the game starts?

While winning is the ultimate goal, you should not leave an inept QB in and win in spite of him. I will give miles credit for winning if we win, not making the right choice at QB. It will take seeing JL play to either concede he is right or know he was wrong. That is all that can happen.

Now, here's a sobering thought: what if Miles fully realizes how bad things look, and it turns out he's also aware JJ is still by far the better of the 2 options? It would explain why his answers are so vague, and why he looks frustrated and hesitant when asked. I want to see better qb play as much as any, but I sure don't want OUR COACH saying "to be honest, what you saw against La Tech last year is all we're ever gonna get from him. He's a nice kid but he flat out sucks," to the media about anyone.

This might really be the case. If so, sucks for our offense, and we need better recruiting. But props to Miles if so, for not thoroughly humiliating the Lee family.

When the offense improves. Part of the problem is the qb, the other being the playcalling, whether it is him or Crowton.

As soon as the Miles apologists admit that Skip was wrong.

The problem comes from Miles trying to hide the QBs from the outside world. If he's been sucking in scrimmages, you don't have to say he sucks, just provide the stats and it gives an idea, but no. He hides the stats from everyone.

This whole predicament is of Miles' creation, so he is the one that has to answer for it. I also think he's the one that should answer to JJ for the boos and explain to him why he keeps throwing him to the wolves week after week.

The rantards and Miles-haters will never concede anything. Lee could come in and throw three interceptions that are returned for touchdowns and rantards will say that it's Miles fault for waiting until the "insert opponent here" game to play Lee.

Whine and boo your hearts out. The QB predicament is not going to get fixed this year.
