When did the search for the new DC start?

Once Chavis said he had to think about it, should/did Miles start putting feelers out?

A Head Coach always has a plan B. Seeing as how Les is genuinely liked in the profession and has had contact with a lot of top tier coaches, it makes sense that he would have his feelers out. When Chavis went FULL DRAMA QUEEN, Les just said "whatever".

Pretty sure he met with Chavis and knew his leaving was a possibility.... so he (Miles) developed his "wish list"... probably put his agent on "fact finding" and got his list together. When Chavis held the contract without signing... I'm fairly certain that Miles met with Alleva to go over the list and discuss options... if he felt he had none -- the push to retain Chavis would have been harder.
Despite "fans" statements to the contray, Miles is sharp and knows what he's doing.... He'll make a good hire for DC.

Miles probably started putting the list together as soon as he had an inking that Chavis was talking to aTm.
