What's the Rant's opinion on Ed Daniels?

Never heard of him, but frick it, I don't like him.

He had spare time from writing shameless apologist articles for his good buddy J.T. Curtis to talk LSU football?

In 2010 when I was a senior at West Jeff, we beat St. Augustine with a freshman Fournette and a senior Trai Turner, Jonah Austin, etc. I kicked a game winning FG as time expired and we won 59-56.

Ed Daniels came to our practice the following Monday cuz we were named the metro team of the week.

As I was the kicker, I was done for the day just watching everyone else practice and Ed and I shot the shite. He asked me my plans whether I was going to go to college and I said yes cuz I got accepted to LSU. He then offered to give me resources to make a higher ACT score for scholarship and TOPs purposes.

Point is dude seemed to genuinely care while we were talking and that meant a lot for a 17 year old. He's a good man who cares about people.

Ed Daniels has it in for Les.

Kidding. Never heard of Ed Daniels.

He's one of those guys who is very pleased with himself...loves to hear himself talk and always thinks he's the smartest guys in the room.

In truth, I find his analysis pretty shallow and boring.

He has the ego of someone who matters. Which he did maybe 25 years ago. He works for the lowest rated TV news in the country and a radio station that can't be heard past the transmitter.


He loves him some Tulane and is not a LSU guy

He's my 2nd cousin. He's not arrogant - just old school New Orleans - which some take the wrong way. Knows a ton of people in sports/media
