I really don't know what to think about this game. I just hope it doesn't come down to who plays better special teams.

My gut feeling is that Buga will set Tiger stadium on fire once again, Auburn game style!!!

LSU wins 27-17. LSU leads 20-17 through most of the 4th Qtr and then Fournette seals the win with a 50 yrd break away TD run inside the last 3 minutes!

Win pretty easily. Our defense will shut them down

My gut feeling is that their strength (pass D) matches up with our weakness (pass O)

Fournette will carry 30 times, Guice williams and brosette will combine for another 15-20.

Harris may not even attempt 8 passes.

At some point an SEC defense will load the box and dare us to beat them with the pass. I think that happens Saturday night. In which case, they are screwed. Tigers win!! 45-27

LSU will have more intensity than previous games. This will be a good test for the o-line for sure. DBU needs to step it up and if the d-line for the Tigers comes to play it will be a long night in Tiger stadium for the Gators. LSU 41 FLA 17.

Played 3 SEC defenses and they all tried that. Avg 310 rushing yards a game. So idk what to tell them. Buga

Will be tough unless BH has a coming out party, which is unlikely against what is probably the #2 DB group with the #1 DB on the field.

Teams have had success running in the middle AT TIMES against us, if they are balanced UF will too and put some drives together (same as us). Their OL is somewhat suspect but has been playing good (not great), so we have the opportunity to make them pass and will be key. Advantage LSU overall.

Can not afford to have S/Teams mistakes. Just too much talent on UF side not to have that bite us.

Their D-Line can put lots of pressure on a QB. LSU can take advantage of that in the run game, but their goal will be to make contact with LF7 in the backfield to either get him turned sideways or not let him get up a head of steam (negating 2nd level blocking). Could be feast or famine at times. Think will be more feast than famine.

Overall, UF is playing very very well right now. Things are clicking. We don't know if they will be consistent in that. Get them off their game, it could go badly for them.

Biggest concern: pass D (and sometimes run D) in the middle of the field. Their WR's take advantage of space and have loads of YAC. Their big pass plays start as intermediate passes across the middle. The one place we are suspect in.

Counter: if front 4/5 can shore up run, the excellent cover LB's for LSU can mitigate that.

Gut: gonna be tough, don't give them the ball and we win. Keep pounding the run even if not working at first. And run BH more on 3rd downs.

I expect a lot of very sore bodies from both teams Sunday morning. This is going to be a very hard hitting old school football game.

I don't know if I have the purple and gold glasses on or if I am drinking the purple Kool-Aid, but I think LSU will be fine Saturday.

What is making everyone think FLA is such a juggernaut? Is it because they beat Ole Miss? How do we know if Ole Miss is really worth a crap. They beat TENN...so have most teams in the 4th quarter. These wins were at home for a young QB and new coach!

This game is completely different b/c:
- we are home...huge advantage...see above
- we have the best running back and o-line in the country
- we can actually pass the football forward...route variation and throwing on first down now in our repertoire
- we play up to our level of competition

Relax, enjoy and Geaux Tigers!!!

depends on who responds. The negatigers will tell you that LSU is likely to lose, that Florida is VERY GOOD and we have Les Miles...blah blah blah...then they will slink away when LSU wins, only to slink back in at the next possible opportunity to bash...it's what they live for.

Now, a reasonable, knowledgeable fan, will tell you that it will be a tough game...Florida has a solid team. We will also tell you that Florida is very good at defending the pass, but very suspect at defending the run. Missouri and Ole Miss, and even KY couldn't expose the run defense...obviously LSU will...If you remember the game in Gainsville in 2012 where Florida literally ran it down our throats and eventually our defense just wore down....I expect that type of game Saturday night, and LSU pulling away for a 10 point win....or so. I also expect LSU to hit a few big passing plays when Florida defense cheats up to much to stop the run.......I personally think it's an opportunity for LSU to showcase itself against a team that is solid, but probably not as good as many believe....but the ranking and status of the team will give LSU a very solid win and should propel them on up the polls...and in public sentiment......

Florida's chances are greatly diminished because they are very young with a young QB and have to play in Tiger stadium.

should be a hard fought contest. LSU should have too much talent for florida to overcome.

Our special teams are a real concern, though.

Tigers have some work to do, cleaning up the kickoff game and pass defense woes. Florida is playing better with each game, but no team other than Alabama has overcome the spell of the Tiger Stadium mojo.

I expect to see a dog fight. While I don't know that this game will have a '07 like intensity, it should still be a very good matchup.
