He was stitched at the field and was watching the game later on. Probably just stitches and some ibuprofen. Seemed like a tough dude getting whacked with some aluminum and not even going to a knee.

After getting stitches he came back and sat in the stands in the purple seats on the right side of home plate for the rest of the game.

When you ump in front of the military Academy you have to be tough whether you want to be or not. That had to hurt. Glad he's ok.

The LSU players need to study the video and learn that technique for "accidentally" applying the bat to the ump's head. They will want to use that, once we start facing some of these psycho SEC umps.
