1987 was the last game played in Jackson - for some reason they have 2 games played in Jackson in the 90s on Wikipedia but those games were played in Oxford

i am probably wrong on this but i thought when i went to the 87 game in Jackson it was a big deal because it was going to be the last LSU Ole Miss game there. I remember the LSU band bus broke down that Sat. and all of the band members had to get rides to Jackson and arrived at various times before and during the game. In the 70s LSU would play Ole Miss at 1 30 and then Bama would play Miss St at 7 in the same stadium.
