Mid 1960s. Been one hell of a ride.

1995, Eddie Kennison. I vividly remember going to the Bring Back the Magic game and the Independence Bowl. I was impressed that Michigan State had a WR named Napoleon Outlaw. I had gone to games before that year, but that was when I was old enough to understand a lot more and the program was getting exciting.

1949 - my dad was a student at Southeastern on the GI bill and the Tigers were playing Southeastern in BR. We all piled in the Studebaker and drove over to BR for the game. My first experience at Tiger Stadium and I was hooked for life.
man, that is an awesome story!

03, but that was the first ear I played football and really fell in love with the sport (even though I sucked)

1971 - Tommy Freakin Casanova!! Our high school baseball team went to the playoffs the previous spring and they were held at Alex Box. We stayed in the Stadium dorm during the trip. I went from casual Tiger fan to fanatic.
Casanova had been kicking rear and played on both sides of the ball. Was really pumped for the 71 season, and Casanova ended up getting injured. Andy Hamilton was another great one on that team.

About 1998 or 1999, when I was about 6-7.

1984....Dalton Hilliard was the man...I'd pretend to be Jeff Wickersham playing in the yard; had my face painted like a tiger at the Sugar Bowl, Nebraska kicked our butts....I still want revenge for that game

1982...age 6
20-10 vs Bama started it all for me. First game I attended was Washington in '83. Those were the days of 3/4 televised games a year...having to pick up Tigervision boxes at the circle K, then returning them on Sunday...and listening to a young, smoother Jim Hawthorne on "The Southern States Network, home of all LSU sports". I love being able to watch the games every week, but there was something special about just sitting in you're living room with the stereo blaring the LSU broadcast.

The earliest memory I have of LSU football was a week before my 7th birthday. Was at Christmas party and watched the Tangerine Bowl, McClendon's last game.
Then with the plane crash the following month, I knew LSU football was a big deal. By the time Hilliard got on campus I was hooked.
