What would have happened had they lost the fight?

Stories allege that Capt. America instigated the whole ordeal. If the FB players in question had taken the beat down, would they have still been issued arrests? Did they get a raw deal from being proficient in badassery?

If they had lost they wouldn't have been able to kick a defenseless man. Why is everybody acting like that part didn't happen?

Honestly though, it was a lose/lose situation.
The rant would have blown up with how JJ and his teammates got beat up outside a bar. Either way it went down, they could not win this one.

sounds like a crazy marine with PTSD ---- isnt there like numerous marines in jail right now for going off on people after getting back from tours in iraq ..... guess you have to win the fight to be considered mentally unstable

That's a different topic. Point is, supposedly someone started a fight that they finished. The original point was: Had they taken a beatdown, they would have been guilty of breaking curfew; probably ending up with them doing extra running after practice at most. As it turned out, they are better at hand to hand (or foot, in this case) combat, so that warrants an arrest. Doesn't add up.
