What were you really expecting to see from the offense at Lambeau?

My expectations were guarded throughout the summer because we'd been thru this before: post 1-9-12, things surely had to change right? Especially with a legitimate passer poised to take the reigns. We all remember the 2012 offense which looked like a bowl of lumpy arse cream of wheat until the bama game.

2014 offense was shite. Surely a qb with a talented arm taking over under cam will help move things along? Same story

Look, I wasn't expecting us to see what UT fans saw last night, but i was looking for something akin to mett coming out throwing darts against TCU or how we clicked in the bowl game. I know wiscy's D is infinitely better than TT's, but to come out and employ an offensive game plan that looked like what an NFL team would roll with in a first or fourth preseason game was just terrible.

Not expecting Harris to look that lost out there. He wasn't that lost in Week 1 last year.

The same shite show. Haven't believed the hype for years. Laughable that people on this board actually did.

What were you expecting

1rst quarter: 6 plays for total of 7 yards.

Ran 3 times the first set of downs for 7 yards.

Passed 3 times the second time around with no completions.

Not this.

Non Conference so I would have played it very vanilla and not showed anything. Mostly run the ball and throw a few passes. This game was just Soup of the Day and the main courses are coming later. Do some more practice this week and then get ready for Miss State.

Same offense but more efficient and better oline play

The oline was awful and that surprised me

Just a different offense with slants and screens and out routes, and the option. A TE throw or 2.
More crisp play. We suck

It did look very much like a 4th preseason game where the only ones playing were the ones fighting for their lives to not get cut from the 53.

RealityTiger. That's good enough to be a post. I think I have closure now dude. Wisconsin is the 3rd team fighting for a spot. LSUs first team is just going through the motions and couldn't care less. Good stuff man

Better execution, minimal mistakes, and being organized pre-snap...can't believe they regressed in all three areas.

i didnt expect them to come out and run the run & shoot. Just wanted efficiency.

If the OL blocks even remotely average, LF has a bigger day and we likely win. I would have liked to see them make high percentage passes to get the ball into the hands of guys like Guice, Dural, Dupre & Chark.

How many times did we run 50/50 balls to Dupre? what was the point of continually doing that? They were having trouble tackling Dural, even getting him the ball around the line of scrimmage. The few times we went deep, our speed advantage showed. Yet we didnt do that nearly enough.

We had almost zero pass attempts to the middle of the field. WTF was up with that? Everything was outside the hash marks. Harris was pressured 8 of 21 drop backs or something close to that. Why not some quick passes to the middle of the field?

I expected the same offense but with some different wrinkles and innovation. The only thing out of the norm that we saw was the wheel route to Fournette down the sideline followed by the hurry up quick screen to Dural for a TD. The rest was status quo. Of course those plays scored a TD.

I didn't have high expectations. I expected typical Les play calling. I did expect our Oline to play better and that Harris would have played better - I should have known - don't trust Les Miles.

Better execution in the passing game and not the worst o line I have seen at lsu in my lifetime. The oline disappoints me the most.

I really expected the pistol they used against TT, fooled me, I expected a punter that could punt. A kicker who can kick. An idiot would have changed somerthing at half time, QB or scheme,Something. Feel Sorry for the players now because they are set up to FAIL! CLM , "it's a team issue" frick off its a HC issue with a D Arse OC.
