Triumph and hope. Reason and analysis prevailed over sentimental horseshite and mindless repetition of overall records.

like a small piece of me had left. Les was coach for a majority of my LSU football watching years. I grew up during DiNardo and Saban. Les was the constant for almost 12 full years.

It sucks that he is gone, but I feel hopeful for the future. I hope Alleva doesn't frick the hiring process up.

At first, happiness, then happiness, now hours later, happiness.

My feelings were, what could have been of this season had we followed thru with firing him last year. ALL that talent we have wasted again and for LF7 it sucks. What could have been had we replaced Les when we should have.

Excitement and relief. And I've been a supporter. I was tired of the stagnant undisciplined unprepared team. All on miles

It felt like it does when you find out that an old person with all sorts of afflictions finally passes.

"Not surprising"

"Wonder what took so long ... been in bad shape for awhile"

Good luck to CLM and Cam in RETIREMENT.

Oddly sad tbh.

Then anger remembering this already happened...WHEN HE WAS CARRIED OFF THE FIELD LAST SEASON.

Sad for the players, many of whom consider CLM a father figure. They're hurt, but this is a great growth opportunity for them. Time for team leaders to step up!

Felt bad for him. Not like I would for someone else that loses their job. Normally it's hard financially but he won't have that issue. Just because he was a good guy and you know it hurts his feeling that he isn't wanted any more

Hope everybody comes out of this as a winner

I felt like I did when my family's old dog got put down.

He had a great run, but eventually we realized he couldn't stop shitting in the house and he wasn't getting any better, so he had to be put out of his misery.

Relief!
No misgivings and no sympathy for the man.
Anger that it wasnt done last November.
Les sapped the joy out of LSU football.

Sorrow for him and elated hopefulness for all Tigers, all at the exact same time...The elatedness was the most pronounced effect.

Great point... This has got to be a difficult time. Their head coach who they love is done. Hope they can pull it together and move forward. Now is the time for fans to show them all the support possibe!

then a twinge of sympathy (for) Les because I feel for people who are fired
i dont feel bad for people that have 20-30 in the bank that get fired, i think he'll be fine, it might suck for him that he is no longer doing what he loves doing, but the money would heal the sting
