what was going on in the student section?

were they trying to string a banner across the stadium? Looked like a clusterfrick that got aborted.

No they just tied together all those little yellow towels they gave out. Pretty funny

They were organizing a protest about which particular millionaire gets to be the head coach of a collegiate extra-curricular activity.

We were going to string it from one upper deck to the other and I was going to monkey climb across it but alleva came out and cut it in half just when we were getting close

Let me tell you something. As it made its way across the stadium, once it was all the way to the top, an aTm fan broke it in the middle. Right near the band between the second and third sections. Everyone booed him

Someone started it toward the end but it didn't get going well

They tried to get it stretched from the field to the top of stadium, almost managed it too. The cheerleaders and everyone on the field did a great job corralling any towels that made it to the field.
