A competent OC can run more than one system, and that is what we need. We need to be multiple. You can easily run a "pro system" with numerous wideouts. The offense needs to be adjusted to what your personnel can do. No OC worth his salt can only run one system. We can easily spread out to run the ball; this was something that was lacking before. We have numerous talented receivers, and our QB's are good enough to throw it around some. Please do not hire a "one system" guy.

Cameron had a 5 year plan on offense at a 4 year university. LOL. Him and Miles always said they introduced the players to just a fraction of the playback. Yea okay homie. With that said I agree. First task though is getting this messy QB situation under control.

We need an OC who is willing to come to LSU despite the growing appearances that it is budding dumpster fire where the administration has abandoned a pursuit of excellence.

Preach it! That is the real name of the game. It's CFB and you can't pick and choose talent but we're close enough to top of recruiting to have great talent in many positions. So the name of the game is to utilize all the talent in the most efficient way.

The most efficient system attacks the opponents weaknesses from multiple angles. A single system can't do that to top tier opponents.

How about penn state's OC? He is new and came from a small university, cant be making much money, they looked great this year, and far far better than in years past.

Looked him up... Moorhead
Joe Moorhead

A #Binder

All seriousness, they need to be able to groom QBs. Either Pro Style or Duel threat, I don't care.

Why are there so many LSU fans that think so little of our program? Outside of these boards LSU is still very respected. If CEO goes 10-2 or even 11-1, you people will still want him gone just like you did with Miles. Someone on here said he was the worst hire in the history of Big 6 conferences. There are alot of very bad coaches in Big 6 conferences and I don't think O is one of them. Will he be successful? I hope so. If he isn't then we will replace him.
