No way the dude goes in the third round.

7th round at best. Probably undrafted.

best case 5th, worst case undrafted.

I'll go with 6th.

depends on his combine numbers and interviews. can't see him going before the 4th or 5th round though.

The guy is a good punt returner, but really wasn't that great of a cover corner at LSU and never had the opportunity to show that he improved that skill. Sure he can rip the ball away, but that isn't going to happen with anywhere near the same frequency in the NFL as it did in college.

Is he going to get to work out for teams? I mean I know he isn't going to the combine but if he gets to work out and puts up some good numbers he may go in 4th round.

janoris jenkins had similar problems and he still went in the second round. He is not a trouble maker just a pothead. The latest he will get drafted is the 4th round. You only need one team to give you a chance not 32.

5th at best, undrafted FA at worst. Keep in mind he's undersized anyway without the off the field stuff.

He covers better than everbody in that secondary right now! Never seen him bust coverage and always was aware of the play action and double moves. He just gave up a couple pass catches in a couple games geez. I just don't get the can't cover label.

This really isn't a good comparison.

1. He didn't get arrested after getting booted from the team at UF like Tyrann Mathieu did.

2. He actually went and played ball for North Alabama for a year, proving he could stay clean and still had the ability to play at an elite level.

3. He is a much better cover corner than Tyrann Mathieu to begin with.

good then cause he definitely wasn't a better overall player. Not even close and that's why i believe he will get drafted early.

TM didn't get beat as much as people would like you to believe. It stands out because of the Ten-a-key game and against Bama.

The dude's turnover ability is sick and that would get him drafted alone.

I'd say fourth round and no later than fifth.

I never said he "can't cover" did I? I simply said he wasn't that great of a cover corner. He isn't. Not at his time at LSU. He was good Nickel and was good at forcing turnovers. But lining up in man coverage he was not THAT GREAT. Janoris Jenkins seems to be everyones comparison here and he wasn't close as far as covering a receiver.

And no. If you take turnovers and punt returns completely out of the equation, Jalen Mills is as good of raw cover corner as Tyrann Mathieu was. By the time Jalen Mills leaves LSU, the comparison of coverage skills won't even be close.
