Will we see the same BS but only this time it will be against a worse defense in Auburn compared to Florida?

Or will Les surprise us all and make Jefferson get rid of the ball within 3 seconds to his receivers on his snaps (and if no receivers are available, throw it away rather than wait for the inevitable sack), eliminate the option completely, and run Shepherd every now and then?

The suspense is killing me so let me know what you think!

I expect Crowton to make adjustments that tailor to the talents we have at LSU, and to realize his job will be on the line if he fails to do so.

We won't need to make any changes. Auburn's D is atrocious so when we put up some points and win Les and Crowton will think everything's fixed. It'll all be fine and dandy in Les's eyes until we head to Bama.

I think things have changed a little, now that we have reached the meat of our schedule, we are able to make more of an assessment and there is a definite problem now if miles hadn't realized it before.

Gary has 2 weeks to make something happen. I'm not expecting a miracle, but I expect him to take an honest assessment of this team and make some necessary adjustments.

Our offense will run out onto the field, I think last Saturday they got lost in the Lawton Room and couldn't make it to the Florida game.

Very possible. The Lawton Room is very spacious....

From Les' post games comments, looks like we will be running the ball up the middle a whole lot more

Historically, when given extra time to prepare, such as bowl games, Miles and Crowton have done a very good job game planning. This gives me hope for the Auburn game. One other thing. I was reminded of 2005 when Russell was a soph. QB. Early on in that year Miles was being very cautious with Russell, calling very conservative offensive games. Up until the Auburn game that year, when we lost a close game on the plains when we were clearly the dominant team. (thats the game when we had the phantom interfernce flag on Early Doucet picked up) After that game, Miles took the gloves off with regards to Russell and let him start throwing it around the field, made us a pass first, run second team since that suited our talent better. Perhaps this close loss to Fla will prompt some positive changes. Hes proven to be a stubborn but capable coach up til now and I think he will drive the needed changes through for the Auburn game.

Quick kick?

If you can't run and you can't pass, there aren't many other options.

If changes on the offensive line aren't made during the bye week, get ready for the same thing offensively and 4 more losses this season.

Nothing will change against Auburn. Miles thinks he can go 10-2, 9-3 if we plays this way all year.

Now if we lose to AUB, BAMA, and Ole Miss, you'll see a change b/c Miles will be on hot seat. otherwise this is your 2009 tigers.

Yes, I think that'll probably be the most exciting change on offense...It will also be nice to see the blocking skills of LaFell & Toliver, as we'll no longer need receivers.

Unfortunately Auburn will probably score more points than us & win, because it won't take many to win the game.

It'll also be very hard to get Trindon & Shep involved in the offense because even with Auburn's shitty defense, you just can't get a good flow against them.

Remember, Ark. offense > LSU offense by a ton..So don't be fooled by how easy it was for Arky to beat Auburn.

LSU players Good luck in spite of your totally lame & clueless leadership & beat Auburn somehow.

Miles & Crowton, Wow you guys are terrible.

Michigan You lucky bastards.

This is it. JJ in the shotgun with a running back, I-formation, and finally Shep running Wildcat. Miles is an offensive coach. He could live with the defense giving up points last year, but the scoreless offense makes him sick. Chuck will get more carries. He needs to.

This is mythical.

Miles had Rashaun Woods on his team at Ok. State when Woods caught 7, yes SEVEN, touchdown passes in 1 game.

Hard to do if you are running up the middle all the time.

Then they put 8 in the box and shut our assess down... Hell our 5 guys couldn't handle Florida's 3 half the time...
