Expectations are going to be sky high. Championships aren’t going to happen every year. But recruiting should be off the charts and give us the opportunity to play in SEC championships and make the playoff more frequently than before if we keep a good staff. Obviously Brady probably won’t be here forever but I do believe Orgeron will get the best available when we lose coaches to the NFL or to other colleges as head coaches. I’d be happy if average a playoff appearance every 3 years. What about y’all?

Anything less than a national championship is a failure

Come on man that’s not realistic. We don’t play in the ACC like Clemson where a playoff appearance is almost a given.

11-1, 10-2, with a playoff appearance every 3-4 years would be ok with me.

Beat Bama every year, win at least 10 games and make the playoffs every 2-3 years with a shot at another Natty.

11-1 and a playoff appearance should be the new benchmark.

We have it way tougher than most given the presence of Alabama, Auburn, aTm, and Florida on our schedule every flipping year.

I think competing for a CFP spot every year is not too much to expect. I know we can’t make it every year, but I think we should be able to at least challenge every year.

Man just enjoy the moment for now. Got plenty of time to wonder as a fan. Let the coaches worry about it .

Us going 11-1 and making the playoffs without having to play in the SECCG would be amazing.

realistically, we have the talent, resources, and level of program that we should be in the playoff pretty much every year, with the occasional absence, and playing for the national title, at the very least, every 4 years... that's where i think we should set the bar for expectations, IMO...

Compete for the SEC West more years than not. The rest will take care of itself.

I don't really care. I am now free of expectation. No team is ever topping this season, so I can just enjoy the individual play and if the make the playoffs, great.

I’d be thrilled with the same success we’ve had over the last 20 years for the next 20. 5 sec titles, 3 national championships, and average 10 wins a year. Not bad.

It's always been the same since about 2001:

10-2
Contend for the West each year
Win the SEC every few years
Make the playoffs every few years
Contend for a natty every few years
Win a natty occasionally

I want LSU to win at least 10 games every year. I want LSU to be in contention for the SECCG every November. I want LSU to win an SEC title every so often and then make the CFP.

I am 68 and have been a fan since my childhood. I have had the priviledge of seeing the Tigers play for 4 NC's in person. I am pretty sure I wont see another Joe Burrow at LSU (or anywhere else for that matter). But I do have faith that I will see LSU win another NC.
