Yeah in before Jack Hunt and all that but my favorite and I think his best is Cresse's game winning single in 2000. It's an immaculate call.

When I think of Papa Jim this is the call I think of.

The Warren Morris call is too cluttered and he gets it wrong. The Cresse walk off call is perfect.

I remember that one. I was thinking it was great havig Theriot on second because his speed would allow him to score on a base hit.
Then it happened!
Then it happened!

You asked for favorite... Not best, perfect, or "immaculate".

"Charles is met at the line of scrimmage and fights... Not much of a hole there... Decent second effort... It's a gain of 2 after a tough run by Scott."
After 30 seconds of between the play talk..
"TAAAHHHGERS set at the line... second and 5 from the TAAAAHHHGER 25 yard line."
What??? You just said Scott ran for a "short gain of two and that he had "not much room" and yet it's 2nd and 5???
This is honestly how I'll remember him. Love him yet he has driven me crazy for 15 or so years

Warren Morris
And, since I heard the last 2 or 3 batters of that game after getting home from Fort Hood - on the way home from the airport, I feel particularly lucky to have heard it live.

It hasn't happened yet. It will after the last game of the season when he says, "Good bye!"
You would think that after all these years he would have at least gained a working knowledge of the game of football. Still doesn't know the referees signals for penalties, yardage gained on penalties, or any knowledge of Tiger football from 1983 back. Thank Goodness for Doug Moreau who brings some sanity to the booth! When he steps down Doug Moreau will be greatly missed.

Not my favorite, but I've always loved this call
Want me to tell you who it is? No. We know already!

Warren Morris- I remember exactly where I was, what I was doing and almost wrecked the vehicle when he homered!
