I keep seeing speculation everywhere about his contract. I think everyone would like to know exactly what it says to know what his buyout details are.

What's the point? We're dead last in a bad basketball conference. What's going to change in a month?

Snap I didn't even consider that the mans gotta be fired in a month but gotta buy him out. My bad. Well it's alleva's monster he's gonna have to deal with it he hired him. Good thing he helped lsu profit that much but bad news is he's gotta make another basketball hire I guess unless he gets ousted also

Just have the 3000 people that show up tonight hand CJJ $266.67 on the way out and the fans can buy out the 800K! However; we need 3000 fans to show up tonight.

Temple and the crew did the hiring for JJ. Alleva had very little say, he was bullied into making the hire on paper.

I've seen absolutely no evidence for this. But wouldn't allowing himself to be bullied by Temple and Dale Brown be an even stronger indictment of his leadership? They have absolutely zero power over LSU athletics.

His contract expires on 6/30/19 and LSU would owe him $33.33k per month until that time. He is currently paid $125k per month plus auto allowances and other benefits.

6 / 10 ranters who clicked on this thread did so to see if tree fiddy had been posted yet. The poster who "won" only gets partial credit, though. Proper form is about tree fiddy.

Alleva got scared of the possibility of the annual alumni game coming to an end. Even then looking back now, this sounds more like he could have called their bluff.
