According to the rant he will need to go undefeated or should be fired. I kid I kid (but just barely)

Nope according to the rant he should do as well as the previous coach as a minimum. Plain and simple dont complicate.

9-3 would be acceptable and expected.

Gotta take a step up in 2018, though.

Miles was the worse the team looked so horrible on the field we clearly won off pure talent and great defenses

Miles was fired and he was winning 8 or 9, at the end. We expect more.
had we played the canceled mcneese game in 2015 we wouldve won 10 games 4 of miles' last 5 years.

yes you did dumbass. my point was no one wouldve cards about the offense if we were winning 11-12 games and finishing top 5. youre the dumbest thing I've ever come in contact with. my car understands people better than you. seriously

Miles winning 9 wasnt good enough so why would it be for O? Must win 10 or more or what was the point?

11 is great. 10 is good. 9 is floor, but concerning. Anything less is a disaster of a hire.

And that's fine but you have said in the past slot of it has to do with the talent some of those Miles teams lost to the NFL.. well this years team has a lot of loss as well from last year and s brutal schedule... so 9-3 would be a surprise to me.... and we can all use the same excuse you used to defend Miles...

We realize all of that, but Orgeron wasn't handed over the keys to the program to be as good as Miles was at his worst - he was given the job to get the program back to an elite level. Anything less and he is failing by both his own and the program's standards
.

Well.. That was the idea.. but in reality it's a little backwards.
Miles was fired in an attempt to return the program to elite status. Orgeron was hired because we didn't have a coach. Even though it won't be directly addressed, the expectations with Jimbo or Herman would have been much higher than they are with O.
In year one 9-3 with an improved offense is acceptable. If we're not winning 10+ games on a consistent basis starting next year then things will get interesting.

I love how you now change the narrative. for the last 7 years youve been running that dick sucker saying miles is the only thing holding lsu back and now that he is gone you actually want to use the logic I've been using?eat a Volvo full of dicks. I'm done responding to you.

I didn't say that, and I've never defended Miles on here.

I think four losses and the media says he did his job.

Three losses and your average LSU fan will be happy and think that he did his job.

Two losses for the fan with slight overly realistic expectations and he did his job.

One loss or undefeated and he should be noted as overachieving in everyone's opinion.

I would accept 15-0. That would be an acceptable record.

Everyone saying it's not fair for O to win 9 when Les got fired for winning 9 are forgetting O is still playing with the players Miles left him.... mainly a thin O line and a shaky quarterback situation.

He'll win 10 at least so the point is moot.

If you believe he'll win 10, then there is nothing unfair about expecting that.
