You're certainly entitled to your opinion.

Florida is us in the east.

No QB shitty offense great defense.

Except they lost a good coordinator and we added Canada over Steve ensminger

We don't exactly have Murderers Row as our schedule. No excuse for anything less than a 5-0 start.

Bama and FU are tough outs. But if we lose both games, then we're paying Miles and O for what we could have gotten from just Miles.

We fired out HC and OC 4 games in.

We weren't good last year either, but we've recruited better and upgraded our OC.

What has Florida done to get better?

Wasn't being sarcastic you do have a point. But after seeing what he's done without a QB for 2 straight seasons I have a lot of respect for Bucky as a coach and I'm not gonna underestimate that guy. To me he's behind only Saban as the best coach in the SEC.

The acceptable record is only losing to Alabama.

Negative. That's the main reason miles is gone.

yes but the east has been shiiit and while he has won it twice now look at what teams he has beaten. take away the victory against us and its not that impressive and we beat them up and down the field just one of those games that we destructed each time we got close.

So many reasons for Miles to be gone. Doubtful that the main reason is we have lost to the best team in CFB last few years-although its one of the reasons.

So if LM had gone 12-1 the last 2 seasons with losses to only Bama, he gets fired? You really believe this?

I disagree

Alabama is so good right now I think if Les was just losing to Bama we would be better

But getting our asses handed to us by Arkansas and decent but not great Ole Miss and Auburn teams.

I believe we could have gone 12-1 the last 4 years, with only the losses to Alabama, and there would be those that wanted his head on a plate for not keeping control of the West. But he'd be safe, with that record.

But that wasn't the case- he lost the West, but he didn't have a good enough record to protect himself.

So, he's gone. We'll see if this revives the program and we make a run, or if we just turned into Tennessee.

You're right and I'm not arguing just saying that he's done a great job. They haven't been picked to win the East in either year but he's done it. The first season he has the little QB who looked like an up and coming star and while he was healthy and eligible they were the second best team in the entire SEC, they were impressive. Since that kid got in trouble their QB situation has been worse than ours ever was yet he still got them to Atlanta twice and we can knock the East all we want but what he's done is not easy. We have to go into the Swamp and if he gets someone that can play QB it's gonna take our best effort to come away with a win.

See there's a misconception about upsets that ppl buy into. The favorite can't give a game away. They can give the underdog the opportunity to create the upset but thre underdog has to be ready to capitalize on the opportunity and he's the kind of coach who always has his team ready. The difference between the LSU /Florida game and the LSU/Bama game last year was just that. Bama gave us the opportunity to create the upset but we didn't make it happen, Florida did when they came to Tiger Stadium. That's what separates coaches.

I believe he was fired for a number of reasons, but losing to bama that many years in a row was as big as any. His putrid offense was amplified in those games.

Miles winning 9 wasnt good enough so why would it be for O? Must win 10 or more or what was the point?

Miles was on his way to only winning 7 games or less a season.
