What if we are 9-3 every year?

Year 4 after 10-3 seasons of you aren't winning the SECCG and in play offs you've proven you hit your ceiling and it's time to hit the bricks


40-12 doesn't cut it here

We've lived through that since 2007, minuse 2011.....but even in 2007 we lost TWO. Les is the last and only coach to lose 2 games and win a NC........then go undefeated and lose one

With the way we've been the last several years I'd welcome a 10-3 season.

Yep... I said it. We got lucky because Arkansas, Ole Miss and Texas AM were crappy this year. Missouri was a bad team too.

10 win seasons will definitely keep him here.

I would start getting worried if the program started showing signs of declining, both in recruiting and performance on the field. I think we'll know what that looks like when and if we see it.

After 3 years

This is a tough question. Optimistically coach O has learned a lot from being under Carroll about running a program we know he's an ace recruiter better than miles so we should be able to get players also. If he can hire a kiffin or some other top OC to pair with Arranda things could go really well. The opposite side to that is the rumors of his flip flopping philosophies on offense and if we don't get better on offense things could get worse. The players love him and play hard and he seems to favor a more modern and efficient way of preparing but if we screw up the OC hire and we let ourselves fall into a knee jerk radical change on offense 9-3 sounds great though I don't think that'll happen. If he stays the course doesn't panic and makes smart hires well be better than 9-3 consistantly.
