I have decided to boycott any Lee/Jefferson debate with people who can not openly debate.
Its a pointless argument with same 5 people posting the same stuff as before.

Last night me and someone had an actual QB discussion and it was refreshing, rather than "You dont agree with me so you are a dumbass"

Football season as a whole is different, its funny at times. Although after a tough game or a loss its hard to bite you're tongue because of stupidity you will read.

Only a few more days, I was talking to a friend on the team yesterday and he tells me these are the most intense practices he has been a part of at LSU. Thats a good sign, players are calling each other out for mistakes and certain players are growing up as leaders. They are not afraid to call others out, leadership is something we lacked last season.

I have no doubt that LSU fixed it's defensive problems. There is not an if to be found near that unit.

The qb problem is what I am not sure about.
Based on a much improved defense and at least as good or slightly better qb play, 9 wins seems very likely. If we get good qb play, I see 10 wins easy.

Saban is going to have a rough time breaking in a new qb this year. UG is going to have a tough time with a new qb as well, not to mention losing a pretty good running back.

But what if Alabama and Ole Miss were just the same ol' teams - albeit marginally better - and the key reason why they were so successful was that Auburn and LSU were so bad?

Bama was certainly a good team, but not a NC caliber team. OK, USC, Texas wouldve all beat Bama handily. Bama benefited from a year in which AU, LSU, TN, Arky were all bad; they missed Florida during the year, and Bama caught Ole Miss early on before that team really gelled.

No he wont. The Bama offense requires this from a QB: handoff, handoff, throw to Julio. That's it. The newe QB will do this just fine.

...then what?

Bama was a good team but benefited from a relatively weak SEC. I dont think there's anything groundbreaking there.

shite if that happens, I wont be able to log onto TD.com because of server overload. Would mean Lee comes in and that would cause massive "end of world scenarios"

Good thing we have Garrett and Shepard to argue about in 3 years to keep us all busy.

From everything I have read and people I have talked too he has worked hard in off season to improve. We still do not know how it translates onto the field but we shall see in 22 days.

I do not believe that we will or any team for that matter beat any SEC team convincingly on the road. But I do believe that they can be beat and also I believe for LSU to have a great year next year they had better have a great year this year because medocrity will breed itself into the teams minds and before yo know they will only see themselves as as that. That is reason I believe that Les Miles will not let that happen he is push them and the rest of the Coaching staff into being the best that absolutly can be. He knows that if he doesn't get his team back on top of the West this year that it will be even harder next year because he knows like said that medocrity will breed itself into the teams minds and that 3-4-5 loses will be the norm again so that is why I believe he will not let it happen and they will contend for Conference Championship maybe not win it but they will be competitive enough that if they can get a break or two they could win it. So, I say

Good point. We have no reason to believe otherwise until proven wrong. I too think this is going to be an excellent year.
