If LSU were to go 10-3 this year with losses to Alabama, Arkansas and Wisconsin, but wins at Auburn, Florida, Texas A&M and Ole Miss at home, will we still fire Miles?

We can not fire a 10 win coach. The national media will roast us like last year.

I would have no point of reference. Cause that would be an alternative universe.

I would be happy and then they should find a new coach.

So third or fourth in the West again?

Yes. 10-3 with losses to Bama and Arkansas is not acceptable with this team.

The only way that happens is if Craig start taking the snaps in the game

They can fire him if the losses are the direct result of refusing to do anything to change the same persistent problems.

Still gone.

See Richt last year. UGA 10-3. Richt fired.

What does 10 wins do for LSU?

I say your wrong. No sec championship, no job. Same crap every year with LM as our coach. The talent that's being mis used is unreal. He flipped everyone off last year after aTm game and had the last laugh but its not gonna fly this year

UGA showed how to do it.

No leaks, no advance discussions of firing Richt, no media opportunities to blast it beforehand and influence the decision.

UGA was 10-3 last year, and at the end of the year they quietly fired him and issued a press release. The media was silent except to report the news and then speculate on who Georgia would/should look for next as a coach.

Seriously, did you expect a SEC championship this year? So long as Saban is in Bama, who has won multiple championships?

Auburn: 2 (10,13), LSU: 2(07,11), Florida: 1(08). You can not expect another one. Saban has that thing locked up.

To me that is the record that at minimum a reasonable case can be made that this team had not underachieved relative to it's talent. And even then I think it would be debatable depending on how it goes down, who we lose to and how.

Now whether that's enough to fire a head coach, after what went down last year probably not.

Yes, we did. And so did many in the media. And so did the players who could have gone pro but didn't.

This was the year. No excuses.

You say this and then show LSU, Auburn, and Florida also winning titles in that span.

No, Saban will make you concede to him. Do you seriously see us beating Alabama, even with Tom Herman around. I do not think even Bill Belichick could beat Saban if he coached at LSU.
