I don’t even wanna think of that scenario, but it’s possible. The melt would be unprecedented.

Maybe we can try House at OC. Whenever he's coaching a unit on the field, points are scored.

What if Denbrock wants to leave because House is staying?

It’s talent. Denbrock is not better than House. He had the most talented offense in America by a shite ton. Everyone on that starting offense is playing in the NFL in two years. At least three are first round draft choices. If Denbrock leaves he will go on to an average career.

The coordinator is ultimately responsible for the personnel on his side of the ball.

This X 10.

It's the same reason Jimbo won a NC @FSU... & Chizik won one @ Auburn & O won here ....

THE QB.

Sloan will be an upgrade at OC from Denbrock and making him OC will help with recruiting too. Mark my word if it happens. House needs to be replaced too.

You are trying to get everyone worked up over a hypothetical that hasn’t actually happened…. And it will work beautifully. Congrats.

This is my fear.
When A&M came knocking, I felt confident that CBK confirmed to Denbrock that the D will be fixed. But with ND knocking on Denbrock's door it makes me worried that he knows that the 100th ranked Def will return next season.

Maybe his family likes the north better than LA, but making a lateral move like that to a school that can't get the players to get to a national title doesn't make sense.
THere are a few explanations.
-getting even a better contract with ND sniffing around
-he likes living in the north and culture up there better or the family does
-he knows House is retained as DC and the Def will not be that much improved.
