What happens to tonights unis???

Seriously? I mean does the team send them back to Nike for some type of "evaluation" of performance? Does the AD get to keep them and sell/auction them? Do the players get to keep them?

From my understanding players keep gloves/shoes/shirts. Had option to buy helmet.
ETA: Source is guy who knows a few guys on the team. Meaning there is a good chance I'm wrong.

It was cool to see something different that didn't look terrible. But I still think our normal uni's are perfection

When I go to my section and looked at OUR side of the field and saw those unis, I thought "not this shite again" meaning AU screwing with our eye/field before the game.
THAT'S when I remembered we had new unis tonight! Didn't look bad at all but I'm a traditional person.
And what does Nike get out of this if they design and make these and then LSU can sell/auction them? Yes, it's advertising but surely they get something otu of it????

They get the profits of all the LSU fans who buy the pro combat stuff. Everything you saw the team wear today from the gloves to the warm-up shirts can be bought from Nike. That is how they make the money from Pro Combat unis.

Agree. It's fun to change it up once in a while, but our standard gold, white, gold will always be the best. Although today opened my mind to having an all white uni with the standard gold (not the one from today).

Did not know this .. well, I knew that the gloves were available but didn't know anything about warm up shirts. May have to check them out.
