The game was scheduled and they jumped the gun on a hurricane.
"Postponed" due to a hurricane.

No hurricane hits.

Gather the team up and fly them there. Drive the bus to the stadium and wait.

Let the Tigers be there. Let the fans be there.

If Florida doesn't show on a sunny day with no power outages, no damage, nothing bad whatsoever, and Tigers are Tailgating, and the team is ready, think of the Story there.

Either Florida shows up and gets their arse beat, or they forfeit for being pussies when every other team is playing.

Force their hand. Make a media story out of it and the SEC will have to cave.

That would be awesome but will never happen.

They could have a quiet weekend watching football in a Gainesville hotel.

What are they gonna do, stop thousands of Tiger fans from setting up their tailgates at a public university?

"If you build it, they will come."

We are Tigers. We can party like no one else. We can make a party out of the worst reasons, and have partied in far more dire conditions than this little blow.

You could volunteer to pay for it. Make it happen.

Why? That's what UF wants you to do. It's a terrible fricking decision and needs to be blasted on media and social media.

Then I'd say we'd probably end up looking pretty foolish.

The better PR move would be to bring all the gear and staff to play the game, but get off the plane and tell the press that the team is there to volunteer for the sake of the devastated people of Gainsville.
Where can we help?

And so what? That's worst case scenario.

Best case it blows any argument out of the water about LSU not being ready to play.

If LSU is there and ready, and every other Florida team has found a way to play their games, U of Forfeit has no answer other than to play the game at some point this weekend or Forfeit with their tails between their legs.

I like it. Pick up a few palm leaves and right a fallen lawn chair, then look at the camera and say "well, that's done. Can we play the game now?"

Yeah....you lost everyone here. The SEC is the one that has postponed the game. It's official. UF will not forfeit.

They will be acussed of wasting money, even if a booster foots the bill. ESPN makes money off of controversy, and as we have learned, all it takes is one of those idiots to shape the narrative.

Even better, I would have the LSU administration announce for citizens of LA to donate all money they were going to donate for disaster relief if FL had come to play, and put it in a tailgate fund that would fund fans wanting to travel and tailgate Saturday.

The trip would get paid for, and the publicity would be hilarious.

So, you're suggesting thousands of fans fly or drive multiple states over and sit in a parking lot on the off chance that a game may or may not (actually no, it will not) be played? Brilliant.
