What happened to Sam Montgomery?

Admittedly I haven't followed it closely, but I thought Sam was supposed to be a better nfl prospect. Did something happen that lowered his stock?

if he had just said "well i took off plays in fear of getting hurt, and just waited for the big games" would have made a big diff. Why woulld you risk injury against a cream puff team?

He also played 2 full seasons without any injury. Dude shouldnt have said he takes plays off.
I love the guy, he has a lot of passion, but that one comment cost him money.

Dude was an above average DE, that played with great intensity at times. He has a hard time disengaging from blockers. He never took his play to the next level.

i seriously doubt that comment mattered much, let alone this drop. i'd imagine his subpar 2012 + knee issues are making him drop
