2006 Auburn. That one hurt. Because that 2006 team was just so F***** talented.

What's yours?

2010 Arkansas pissed me of really bad for some reason. Probably because it cost us the sugar bowl and that play right before half.

Just one more win in the '11 season and LSU is considered among maybe 2 or 3 others as the all time great team in CFB history.

How can that not be the unanimous answer here?

Well I figured that one was a given.

Right. I should have included in the OP, that I mean besides that. But I thought every LSU fan had repressed that memory to deep already.

Also, it didn't hurt as bad as some of the other big losses because I never really expected LSU to win that game.

This. During the 3rd quarter, I actually handed my roommate in the other room the TV remote. Didn't want to buy a new TV.

1982 We had just beaten FSU 55-21 and clinched the Orange Bowl bid and then Tulane came into Tiger Stadium and beat us 31-28 in the Mud and rain.............

And 1979 losing 17-12 to USC....

21-0 and it's not even close.

What fuels my anger is Saban and Alabama's smirks and smugness, getting to the NC game after losing to LSU in November and getting to relax while we had to play an SEC Championship game.

That 9-6 LSU victory was rendered meaningless. If LSU and Alabama had played 10 times, it likely would have been split 5-5. The regular season game WAS the playoff game and Alabama lost it.

Yes, Oklahoma State blew that game to Iowa State, but they also blew out Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship. They played the "extra" game.

Thanks NCAA, for rendering meaningless our huge regular season victory over the gumps.

And yes, Les ran his mouth without thinking with his, "It would be an honor to play this team again."

Hell, he should have said what Saban no doubt would have, "We'll let the process play out, etc." or "That's up to the BCS," but Les just made it easier for the gumps to get an undeserved do-over.

Yes, we screwed up on the field, but I really can't get too angry at the kids, taking the field knowing that the gumps got a free second shot and our regular-season victory meant nothing.

*Sorry. Careless mistake--that wasn't a B12 championship game. But still, the gumps had their shot in the regular season and lost. And with what OKST did to Oklahoma thrown in, no way the gumps should have gotten a free do-over in New Orleans. That November loss cost them absolutely nothing, in fact, it made things easier for them since they didn't have to play in the SECCG. They got a cushy ride to the BCSNC game as a reward for losing.

I'd have to go with that dumb rematch with Bama for the BCSNC.

We whipped everyone that year by double digits except one game and we still won that one.

Bama never should've been there. It wouldn't have happened to another team. But that's for a different thread.

There's my answer. We could see that trophy and then the roof collapsed.

Obviously the easiest and best answer is 1/9. I don't blame it on Jordan Jefferson or any one particular entity, but after Jarrett Lee was pulled and Jordan started the offense really sputtered and made it brutal. Barely escaping Arkansas and Georgia with crappy first halves convinced me we couldn't beat Alabama the second time.

When I found out we had to replay them I was split. I agreed that they were the second best team in the country, but I knew there was no way we could win. Rematches like that typically never work out for the original victor. Also, Nick Saban's game plan was flawless for that game and they played flawlessly. I agree with the above post that I truly think it would split 5-5. It still makes me proud to know I witness two of the best teams to ever take the field in probably the last 20 years. I have my sides, but I just appreciate greatness no matter what.

The other loss that really hurt was LSU/Bama 2012. Just curious to have played such an amazing game to lose in the last 30 seconds. The Bama losses always really upset me, because it's become almost like a curse since 1/9. No matter how hard the boys play they always seem to come up one short.

Oh and Clemson 2012. Three straight passes in the fourth instead of running Jeremy Hill? Seidjdnxiciensnxisjans

/Rant.

I got over 1/9/12 pretty fast. The 2005 Tennessee made the me most upset took me a while to forget that one.
