To be happy with the direction this team is going. Also, the score reflects the play of LSU. I would say:

LSU= 55
Troy= 0

A win plus drastic improvements in the OL and DL. Also, team needs to play with some fire and emotion.

Final score? Just a win

I would like to see improvement with the OL, DL, intensity, play calling, and less busted coverage and edge assignments on defense. Also less than 5 penalties.

The final score is fairly irrelevant. The test will be UF.

This.
I'm not worried about a final score, although a 14 to 17 point win seems like it would be enough if the above is shown on the field.
Just looking for improvement so I can have some hope for the game against UF.

Last week we got a baby step in improvement with a big reduction in penalties.
If the O-Line still looks confused and our QB is running for his life most of the game and the DL is getting gashed, I don't think just a win is going to make most happy.

To me the score doesn't matter. It's the feeling in the fourth quarter that we could actually lose the game. As long as that feeling isn't there, I'm fine. Also, in the current state of the program, a marked improvement in the trenches needs to be seen.

Honestly, I would be happier if we win comfortably enough to let the team play more FR, work through difficulties, but see them figure out how to work through the hardships. A 10-point win with that accomplishment would be more valuable than a 55-0 blowout with us playing the starters conservatively.

indicative of the last 2 games played, this is absolutely the keys to winning Saturday night

1: defense HAS to get off the field on 3rd down
1A: offense has to sustain long drives and score TD's in the red zone

If TROY runs 75 plays we phucked !

It would also be nice to see our punter(s) flip the field

Beating Troy 77-0 will not really answer any significant questions.

That's just how it is.

I think, first, that for better or worse, we know the answer to the questions about this LSU team.

And if we don't, only how we play in SEC games will answer them.

Troy, barring a complete meltdown and loss, is totally irrelevant.

If lsu doesn't come to play it's a game we could lose.

No Troy isn't great but far from bad.

Troy has no impact on direction (unless we lose).

Never stoop to the level of a directional school.
