I agree slack. A decent coach would have this team with no more than 2 SEC losses instead of eggs against UGA, A&M, and Bama and getting embarrassed by URI and Tennessee.

Brady was here for what 11 years before people finally wanted him gone. It's not a fair comparison at all, it's not like Jones replaced Brady, there were several years in between where my memory is very fuzzy now

That's not a great track record considering he was here for more than a decade, just saying. I mean you're all over JJ for NOT being an NCAA tournament team in year fricking TWO.

I was and still am happy Brady was fired. He was terrible. He stayed about 4 years too long.

Compare the talent. It's not hard to see who the better coach is. Like I've said, everyone here knows I'm an LSU basketball fan boy out of my mind. But this is probably one of the 4 most talented teams since 2000 and they are without a doubt going to miss the NCAA tournament

I'll agree with that. For recruiting purposes jones was a good hire. For actually putting a winning product out he's awful

The only reason you liked Brady is you mooched a free meal off of him.
He destroyed LSU basketball. We went from selling out the PMAC to not being able to give away tickets. And he was an embarrassment with how he behaved during a game. He was so bad I became indifferent about our basketball program as did thousands of season ticket holders.

bradester's own success kinda devoured him after that final four run. just kinda put it on cruise control. it was sad how bad we were in 06/07. dude probably actually deserved one more year but he was in too deep against the majority of the fanbase. LSU could do better then and now. just not even that interested anymore.
