doesn't change his "I hate recruiting stance"

Give it up, nothing will re-create 2019

Dude is an NFL animal. He used LSU to achieve his goal of being an NFL Coordinator and future HC. Good for him

Not happening. He won the Broyles award and immediately went back to the NFL.

Oh please, he might be, but the degree of certainty and finality people put on this is laughable.

Where did this narrative come from that he hates to recruit?

Hiring a coordintor who's bottom 1/3 in the NFL as the HC seems like the move we need to make

So if Matt Rhule wanted out of Carolina and brought Brady with him as OC....

Brady is not gonna leave an NFL job where he just coaches to come to a college program and have to recruit along with everything else involved at the college level, too easy to make good money in NFL

I don't believe he's the prodigy that everyone makes him out to be but I'd be willing to bet LSU HC $ blows anything he's making now out of the water, but as you pointed out, what he's doing is easy compared to the workload that would come with the college HC gig

Stupidity.
This next HC hire will either send LSU back to being a top tier SEC team & national title contender or they will become Tennessee, Texas, USC, etc. LSU cannot turn to an inexperienced coach to lead this program; been there, doing that! Next guy that comes in needs some skins on the wall or at least some experience recruiting & developing the talent that LSU needs, running either an offense or defense as a coordinator, the ability to hire competent coordinators & assistants, & keeping the program in good standings with the NCAA. If you get JB, you better find some more eligibility for Burrow, CEH, Chase, Jefferson, etc because, as good as “his offense” looked, those guys I mentioned, & others, were what made it so great. LSU has to go out there loaded for elephants, bear won’t even cut it. Time for Woody to earn his keep & find LSU a football “Mulkey”.

Brady was interviewing for HC jobs after ONE season as an NFL OC. He wasn't going to get any of them now but the fact they even let him interview says that he'll be a HC in the next 5 years. No chance in hell he ever goes back to College.

our next HC should be a guy that has been a proven winner as a head coach. Not taking a flyer on a hot coordinator who's never been a head coach.

Get a proven guy, like O'Brien, Campbell, Freeze, Cristobal, Fickell, Fleck, Franklin, Kiffin, then maybe Chadwell or other Group of 5 winner. Long shot - Bob Stoops or Urban Meyer, if he flames out with the Jaguars.

And damn, they need to bring proven coordinators with them - no newbies cutting their teeth here. I knew we were in trouble when we hired Peetz and Jones. They may turn out to be good, but far too much risk and growing pains for a program like LSU.
