What do you think the Syracuse game time will be?

First 3 games have game time but Syracuse is listed as TBA. When should we expect to get the game time set? Going visit my grandson and son and we will go to game. They live in Providence, R.I. about 4.5 hr drive want to know if I need two nights in hotel or one.

Doesn't matter. It will be a bloodbath and for all practical purposes over in the first quarter.

Good question because I'm going as well...planning on driving up from NYC Early Saturday morning...I booked my hotel already and would advise you to do the same. A lot of hotels were already sold out. You can always cancel it if u end up not going.

Looking at the ACC schedule that week, I would say probably 12:00 pm (11:00 am central time) or possibly 2:30 pm central. Duke/GT is only other "good" ACC game that day

Saw on the Syracuse schedule that the time is listed as 12:00pm. They usually play their home games around that time.

It's going to have to be on after 9:00 pm for it to be on broadcast TV. The FCC won't let a violent asskicking be shown earlier than that in the day.

Grandson is the reason for the trip and his HS game is at 12:00 noon. He was the reason I agreed to go.

Despite being called the carrier dome, no there is no air conditioning. Usually by the end of september it's cool up there unlike here

It's a difficult guessing game. Depends how you guys do - I think you have 2 SEC games early and then how we do - 3 "should be" wins early. If all goes well I'd say 3:30. The slate of games that Saturday isn't the best so 3:30 seems like a good guess

I am hoping for 3:30 but for some reason I have this feeling it would be on ESPN at night. We're coming in on Friday because we knew 12:00 would be a possibility as well.

We are doing the same thing. Flying in on Wednesday, driving up the Syracuse Saturday morning. Driving to Niagara Sunday and flying out of Buffalo Monday.

About the same for me too. Flying from Houston to Buffalo through Chicago on Thursday and back on Monday. Using the Southwest flying cattle car.... gotta "LUV" it!! Lol

I'm flying up to NYC on Wednesday, driving to Syracuse on Friday, taking in Niagara Falls on Sunday, and flying back on SWA from Buffalo on Monday.
Sounds like there will be some purple and gold hanging around Niagara Falls on Sunday. Hopefully some good sports bars nearby to catch the NFL games. I've always sort of been a Bills fan. Bills are at Dolphins with a 4:25 (eastern) kick-off that day.
