As long as they generate more revenue than they take out at the end of the year. Don't want to get smaller checks from the SEC revenue sharing.

I'm just not a fan of changing anything, the conference is hard enough as is. now we'll have to play 9 SEC games and still go undefeated/1 loss to get to the title game?

if it was one of the other conferences and they were trying to make themselves look better for the bcs then sure.

I don't like the idea. The SEC is fine the way it is.

We'll probably keep the same number of OOC games and just cut out one East game (basically trading aTm for Tennessee).

I predict aTm will be an Arkansas-esque addition to the conference. An up and coming Big 12 team will be a mid-tier SEC team. Bidness as usual.

I would tend to agree that if the SEC expanded they would remove some divison games and you would play more West games. Keep the OOC like it is or the conference would be in trouble to to beating each other up even more.

Nah them moving to the sec will result in more recruits from la, al, fl, and ga going to east texas.

According to them.

Why do you ask?

I'm against it...

But if it's going to happen, then the only 2 teams I would add is Texas A&M and Florida State.

We're going to need a West replacement for Auburn, even if the conference doesn't expand to 16 teams. I like Memphis, Louisville, Southern Miss and aTm for that slot.

aTm would bring an active fanbase and more tradition and history than the other Houston area teams such as Rice and UoH. Out of all of the Texas schools that would reasonably be considered (Lubbock and Ft. Worth are too far out of the area, IMO) aTm should be at the top of the list.

Florida State

There's virtually no question that FSU wants to be the next SEC-E team - the only glitch will be if the Gators don't want to accept another Florida team in the conference.

Gives Lsu more of a rivalry game. Helps the Sec out alot but not Lsu necessarily. They will provide $ and recruiting and tv. Not sure it happens in the very near future but will happen in the next few years

Expansion is going to happen better to be able to pick who you want before the entire B12-2 implodes. I want tam and okla.

I would be fine with TX A&M in the West and a FSU in the East.
